Glendale Tennis Club

With over 750 members, Glendale Tennis Club is the largest community-based tennis club in Durham Region. We take pride in offering a wide variety of leagues, events, lessons and community outreach programs. Activities are offered for both junior and adult members at all skill levels.

Leagues: We offer 8 weekly house leagues, and put forward 8 teams to participate in various weekly regional and inter-club leagues.

Events: We host many special events throughout the season, including competitive, recreational and social events.

Instruction: Glendale Tennis Club offers the most comprehensive tennis instruction programs in Pickering. Our programs include a wide range of group and individual lessons, tennis aerobics and summer camps for players at every level.

Community Outreach: In addition to offering activities for our members, Glendale Tennis Club is active in advocating for the sport of tennis, promoting physical activity and encouraging a spirit of fair play within our community. Several of our activities are open to the community, such as our open house and our provincially-sanctioned junior "Rookie" tournament. Glendale offers a free membership program for individuals who are in need of financial assistance. Our Club also makes an annual contribution to a worthy local charity.
