Although there are lots of details
in various places on our web site, this "About" section tries to give a top-down
description. We are proud of what we do as a tennis club, and our courts are very busy. However our 2006, 07, 08 membership numbers show a drop in memberships, and we as a club must search for reasons why.
WHY

WHO
"... encourage, foster and promote the game of tennis." That's in the club constitution.
Also, we think the club exists so members (Pickering community etc) can have
fun and get some excercise via a healthy outdoor activity. Quality of life and
meeting new people comes into it too.
People. Tennis courts. The game of Tennis. Fun. Competition. Social contacts. Our children - the junior players. Junior development. Growth. Oh yes, and free parking. There's more details under "Membership and Court Access" via the side-bar menu.
May to October, weather permitting (This is Canada, eh?).
