In addition to the events under Basic adult membership, Tournament/League members (fee paid with registration) are eligible for the following:
Tuesday House League
The Tuesday House League plays Mixed matches, Men's Doubles and Ladies Doubles after 6:30 PM on Tuesday evenings. See the calendar for scheduled start day. A 20 week schedule continues into September including the playoffs. Your matches will be at a pre-scheduled time each week.
We welcome all skill levels and have room for 80 players. If you cannot play regularly you are welcome to join our spare list, and you will be much in demand.
Alex Lyttle co-ordinates, but assistance from volunteers is a must. Its fun and not a lot of work. Great way to get to know other players. Call Alex at 839-8984 for more information

Thursday Night Competitive League (TNCL)
Play is Men's Ladies' and Mixed Doubles in a for 15 week season
plus playoffs. This competitive league gives our better calibre men and women
an opportunity to compete at their own level against similar Glendale players.
Membership in a Glendale A, B or C team is not a prerequisite, but to play in
the TNCL, you must be of a C+ level or higher caliber. You may be required to
attend
tryouts to play in the TNCL.
We will utilize 4 courts and play at 6:30, 7:45 and 9:00 PM.
If you are not available for most games you are welcome to join
the spare list.

«Club Championships«
Championships are open to all League/Tournament members. Everyone is encouraged to sign up a at least week beforehand in (see calendar). The early rounds are a lot of fun to play in and the finals rival the ones at the Rexal Centre, but with free parking and better seats.
Come out for the finals - see your calendar for dates. great days for tennis.

Durham Ladies A/B (Tues. AM).
Do you want to play against other clubs? Team is limited to six players plus spares. See Calendar. There is usually a time-out for Rogers AT&T Tennis.

Now in its sixth year this is a great morning workout for ladies tennis at Glendale. Space is limited to 20 of our strongest A/B players who sign up.

Toronto Ladies Tennis League

Early start date - Please see schedule for exact date. Tryouts necessary. Coordinator: Maria Smith Glendale Tennis Club (GTC) first joined the Toronto Ladies Tennis League (TLTL) in 2005. Two teams were entered and finished the season in 1st and 2nd place in the entry C2 level. For the 2006 season, GTC repeated this performance finishing first in the C1 and C2 divisions! Our teams then advanced to B2 and C1 for 2007 where competition is tougher. About the TLTL league: The league began in 1929. This competitive traveling league has divisions beginning at the C2 level up to the A1 level. Each division consists of eight teams where the top team moves up a level and the bottom team moves down a level. The geographical boundaries are Etobicoke to the West, Highway 7 to the North, Lake Ontario to the South, and Pickering to the East. This is an eight-week spring league beginning May 3rd. with three courts playing. Games are played on Wednesday's from 10am to noon. Ladies interested in playing in this league are required to participate in GTC's tryout process. For your interest, the TLTL's website site is www.tltl.org . |

Durham Region Competitive Tennis League (DRCTL)
Home and Away Durham Region A, B & C Ladies' and Men's Doubles Leagues
Durham A (tryouts ) - Will play Mens' doubles, Mixed and Womens doubles matches on Wednesday evenings. If you rate your playing ability at five or more this is the league for you.
Durham B (tryouts) - If you rate your ability a 4.0 + you will enjoy these games - three mens doubles, two mixed & one ladies doubles. Play starts Monday, May 6th, Register early.
Durham C (tryouts) - Ladies Doubles, Mixed and Men's doubles. Court time alternates with Durham A League. Register early.
Team Captains will be chosen after tryouts and team members are established.
